Grape variety

Anjou Villages Brissac : 80% Cabernet Sauvignon et 20 % Cabernet Franc

Garnet red color with a beautiful intensity and a nice shine. Complex spicy and woody nose, from its meticulous aging in 400L barrels before the vanilla touch, notes of zan, then cooked red fruits and stewed black fruits. Full and fine on the palate, and at the same time almost sweet … with an elegant tight but silky tannin!

Tasting tips

Anjou Villages Brissac has structural potential and natural qualities for aging over 6 to 8 years. After decanting for one hour and serving at room temperature (18/19 ° C), it will deliver its potential on:

  • Very rare roast beef or Rossini tournedos …
  • Small game birds (duck) and especially large game birds (wild boar, hazelnut deer)
  • a rooster in red wine
  • a duck breast with green pepper, or a roast duck
  • a duck or goose confit
