Our history

The estate takes its name from the two windmills that stand proudly and can be seen as soon as you approach. They represent both the history of Anjou and illustrate the strength of our terroir defined by its hallmark feature: slate..

A table at the heart of the estate

This future place of conviviality will showcase an authentic cuisine, crafted from local and seasonal produce, in harmony with the estate’s wines. A new destination to discover, extending the experience of terroir, sharing, and indulgence.

2025

Un partenariat clé

Since October 2025, the estate has established a partnership that helps strengthen its visibility and boost foot traffic in the shop. Our wines are now available for purchase online through this partner, offering a new way to discover the estate, while fruits and vegetables remain exclusively available on-site.

Reuse !

The estate welcomes its new partners, Samuel and Laurent. The logo and communication are getting a fresh new look. Bottles are now washable and therefore reusable, capsules are being phased out, and the use of cardboard is reduced: making way for simplicity!

2021

Organic farming

First vintage in organic farming. The estate aims to go further in sustainability by producing its first organic wines.

2018

Market gardening

Launch of the Potager des Garennes . Samuel begins the market gardening activity within the estate. Planting of a plot using agroforestry (vines and fruit trees on the same parcel) with southern grape varieties to anticipate climate change. Start of organic conversion .

2016

Back to nature

End of chemical weed control. Planting of hedgerows to promote biodiversity. Installation of shelters for the natural predators of certain vineyard pests. Development of the harvest reception area and arrival of an additional press.

2012

Diversification

Completion of the building renovations, including the windmills, and launch of the Chambres du Meunier activity with the افتتاح of the reception hall. We join the Ferme Dephy network to analyze and optimize phytosanitary practices.

2008

Consolidation

Arrival of our cellar master. Expansion of the estate with additional vineyard acreage and a third building to store viticultural equipment.

1998

Expansion

Takeover of the family vineyard, doubling the surface area and expansion of the vineyard team.
Construction of the second building, which will become a maturation cellar for our bottles.

1989

Beginnings

Daniel settles on the estate in 1989. Construction of the first building housing the winery. Planting of the first vines. The first customers begin purchasing our wines. The first employee joins two years later.
